Technical Documentation & Known Issues
For a full technical breakdown of the changes in this build, you can view the official changelog here.
Important Caveats for Players:
This is a BETA release. Due to a premature map leak and limited development time, users should expect significant bugs. While this version is significantly more stable than the leaked version, the following issues are confirmed:
- Item Assembly: A known bug where recipes occasionally fail to assemble into the final item.
- Couriers: New courier code has not been implemented; skills for new couriers are currently non-functional.
- Ability Logic: Remote Mines and other complex skills lack updated AI logic in this build.
- Stability: There is a higher probability of fatal errors and crashes compared to previous stable releases.
AI Hero Status:
The following heroes have Incomplete AI and may exhibit basic or erratic behavior: Thrall, Slark, Admiral, Clockwerk, Invoker, Visage, Wisp, Gyrocopter, and Eredar.
Recommended -airepick:
For the best gameplay experience, we recommend using the -airepick command if the AI selects the following heroes, as their logic is currently suboptimal: Alchemist, Spiritbreaker, Bristleback, Lycanthrope, Undying, Lone Druid, Templar Assassin, Soul Keeper, Storm Spirit, Windrunner, Batrider, Tinker, and Techies.
Development Roadmap:
PleaseBugMeNot has noted that work will be postponed briefly due to professional commitments. Future updates will focus on memory leak fixes—which are critical for long-term game stability—and porting logic for the 6.69 and 6.70 changes.
Special thanks to the AITeam for their rigorous testing and support in bringing this map to the public.
