List of Dota 2 Heroes - Latest and Updated

You might have been thinking "which Dota 2 hero will I use?" If you can't decide which one, then let us help you by showing you the list of Dota 2 heroes. Click on image below to enlarge photo: The current beta build that the tournament players are using has 46 heroes enabled for CM Mode. There is one less ban for each team. This change to CM is just temporary, until all of the heroes are ready and stable enough to be enabled in it.

Dota 2 Free Beta Registration

Valve has posted information about "The International" Dota 2 tournament going on at Gamescom this week, but a bunch of news about lucky Gamescom attendees playing the game isn't nearly as exciting as, you know, playing the game yourself. Along with the tourney schedule, Valve has opened up beta registration to the public for Dota 2.

Dota 2 Sixteen Teams

The sixteen teams are split up into four groups of four, and each team plays one game against everyone in their group. The results of the group stage will populate the winners and losers bracket. The two teams in each group with the best won/loss record in the group stage advance to the winners bracket. The two teams with the worst won/loss record in the group stage are placed in the losers bracket. Ties at the conclusion of the group stage will be broken by total match time for their wins (lower is better).

Dota 2 Tournament Details Update

The tournament website is now live at dota2.com. You can use it to see the schedule for upcoming games, view the current live match or to watch replays of previous games. The Broadcasts are available in four languages (Chinese, Russian, German, and English) as well as in an auto-director camera mode.

The tournament uses a group stage for the first day, which feeds into the winner and loser brackets for the following days. The bracket view will be updated to reflect the current status of the tournament, if you want a spoiler-free update, use the schedule view. The first game is estimated to start at 10am CMT in Germany.

Valve believes that F2P is widely supported and they might also consider create their platform for their games.
