Ice Frog, no longer affiliated with the dota-allstars.com website

Following a change in professional direction, I am no longer affiliated with the dota-allstars.com website. I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone over there the best of luck in their future endeavors.

My commitment to DotA development remains steadfast; I intend to continue leading the project for the foreseeable future, certainly for at least the next couple of years. Regarding the current development cycle, version 6.60 is nearing the conclusion of its design and rigorous testing phase. We are preparing to transition into the translation phase shortly. While there are still specific technical elements and content fixes requiring my direct attention, the build is finally approaching a stable, complete state. I will provide further technical updates here as they become available.

As of today, I am establishing a new official community hub for DotA. To ensure the highest quality of gameplay and balance, I believe my time is best spent focusing on the core development and iterative improvement of the game itself. Therefore, I am reaching out to the community to assist in building this new platform. I am confident that our player base possesses the technical talent and organizational skill to create a site that truly serves the needs of the community.

I am looking for contributions in several key areas, including:
  • Web development and programming
  • UI/UX design
  • Technical support and infrastructure
  • Content creation and documentation
My goal is to implement a collaborative framework where those who wish to contribute can do so in a productive and structured manner. If you have the expertise and are interested in being involved in this project, please reach out to me directly at IceFrog@gmail.com.
