Based on my hands-on experience configuring this for various Warcraft III environments, it remains a stable solution for managing DotA Allstars sessions.

Technical Requirements:

  • Warcraft III TFT: Versions 1.24b through 1.24e are strictly required for compatibility.
  • DotA Allstars Map: Compatible with versions 6.63 to 6.67c.
  • Operating System: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, or higher.
  • Dependencies: You must have the Visual Studio 2010 redistributable package installed to ensure the necessary runtime libraries are present.

Managing Anti-Virus False Positives:
Because DreamDota, DreamLoader, and DreamCrack interact with game memory, security software often flags them as heuristic threats. To ensure a successful installation, follow these steps:

  1. Temporarily disable your anti-virus software.
  2. Download and extract the required files.
  3. Place the files in your Warcraft III directory. Note: Moving these files after extraction can trigger security alerts.
  4. Add the extracted files to your anti-virus software's "Exclusions" or "Exceptions" list.
  5. Re-enable your anti-virus protection.

Installation and Configuration:

  1. Download the latest DreamCrack package provided below.
  2. Extract the contents directly into your Warcraft III TFT root folder.
  3. To customize your experience, edit DreamDota.ini to map your preferred hotkeys. Refer to Keycodes.txt for a complete list of supported key identifiers.

Once configured, DreamDota will initialize automatically upon launching Warcraft III.

- No longer need to be loaded every time WC3 is started
