Disruptor - Dota 2 Hero Guide

Disruptor is a high-impact utility hero categorized as Ranged - Nuker - Support - Initiator - Disabler. In my experience, Disruptor is one of the most effective "anti-mobility" supports in the game, capable of punishing overextended enemies with precise positioning. Mastering him requires anticipating enemy movement to maximize the utility of his displacement and lockdown spells.

Disruptor Abilities
Thunder Strike - Repeatedly strikes the targeted unit with lightning. Each strike damages nearby enemy units in a small radius.
Glimpse - Teleports the target hero back to where it was 4 seconds ago. Instantly kills illusions.
Kinetic Field - After a short formation time, creates a circular barrier of kinetic energy that enemies can't pass.
Static Storm - Creates a damaging static storm that also silences all enemy units in the area for the duration. The damage starts off weak, but increases in power over the duration.

Thunder Strike

This is your primary harassment tool in the laning phase. Because it provides vision of the target, it is excellent for tracking enemies who attempt to retreat into the fog of war.

Glimpse

Glimpse is arguably one of the most powerful displacement spells in Dota 2. Use this to catch heroes who have used mobility items or spells to escape. Note that it instantly kills illusions, making it a hard counter to illusion-based heroes.

Kinetic Field

The key to landing a perfect Kinetic Field is predicting the enemy's pathing. Because of the 1.2s formation time, you should cast this slightly in front of the target's current movement trajectory.

Static Storm

This ultimate is devastating when combined with Kinetic Field. By trapping enemies within the storm, you ensure they remain silenced and take the maximum scaling damage. It is essential to hold this for critical team fight moments rather than using it on single targets unless necessary.
